A design research project to explore the potential of generative image creation with AI, focusing on an art direction inspired by the aesthetics of shitsurai. It investigates how AI can be used to create visual compositions that emphasize simplicity, mindfulness and harmony. The project engages with the interplay of light, materiality and impermanence, reflecting traditional Japanese approaches to arrangement and composition.
