I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work on The Dektat Project, a visual experiment and exploration that aimed to question our evolving relationship with technology, surveillance, and warfare. The project explored multiple perspectives on topics such as imperialism, the growing use of drones, and personal experiences, through the use of image collages, typographic experiments and logo design.
Our approach involved producing a weekly image remixes based on news topic, which was then published on a flash mini site. The collaboration between myself, Thomas Espinosa, and Luigi Iannitelli was essential to the success of this project. Without their involvement, these years would have been less enjoyable and fulfilling.
